Illustrator 25.4 Compatibility Issues

UPDATE:

As of August 31, 2021, we have a fix for the compatibility issue introduced by Adobe with their Illustrator 25.4 release.  If you are currently under maintenance and you would like access to the fix, please contact Support using the contact form above.   If you are not under maintenance please reach out to our Sales team (sales@avenza.com) to arrange an upgrade or maintenance renewal.

We are strongly encouraging all users to NOT upgrade to Illustrator 25.4 or higher at this time as we have identified several components of MAPublisher that are not working correctly as a result of recent updates.

The features that we have identified so far include (but are not limited to):

- Knockouts 

- Buffer art

- Join Areas

- Create outline around text

- Graticules with labels

In some cases, users may not encounter any issues at all (niche cases), but we are seeing more consistent issues in our testing and are working actively to get this resolved and supported.
