Spatial join not working?

Dear all

I tried to make a spatial join between a polygon layer (a polygon layer in map view) and a symbol layer (a point layer in map views). In the symbol layer, I added the Symbol-Style to the table and performed the spatial join. The result was, that non of the Symbol attributes were added to the polygons.

In GIS, I had to convert the symbols (feature) to points first, this seems however not possible within Illustrator or Mapublisher. Is this the problem and is there a possibility within illustrator to deal with this problem?

  Hi Tom,

  If possible, can you email us the data, and the specifications you are using for the Spatial Join (a screenshot of that dialog with your settings will suffice) so that we can look into this further?  You can use the Submit a Request option at the top of our Support Centre to contact us!
