Automation: batch importing shapefiles in Photoshop using Geographic Imager
Has anyone discovered if "Import: GI: Lines and Areas Import" can be added to an action or batch script in Photoshop?
1) The Photoshop Action recorder isn't picking up on a test import.
2) " Section: Unsupported Automate Tools: Scripting and Actions" of https://support.avenza.com/hc/en-us/articles/360059421812 does not officially call out "Lines and areas Import" as being unsupported, but it does for others.
Versions:
Photoshop - CS6
Geographic Imager - 6.1.1

Hi Scott,
Thank you for your post, it is appreciated.
We do provide the resources and examples as you have seen to help users get started on scripts, but do not provide the service of guiding/creating custom scripts for users.
This is not a service we provide as it can require skills above simple familiarity with the Adobe Photoshop object model, basic JavaScript programming skills and more advanced skills and script knowledge. Our samples may offer a start, but further work that will likely be needed will be dependent on the user.
If you have more question feel free to reach out via - https://support.avenzamaps.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. Thank you!

It is not looking good. I reviewed the sample scripts here,
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Avenza\Geographic Imager\Help and Tutorial Data\Tutorial Data\Sample Scripts
and read more about GI scripting here, https://www.avenza.com/help/geographic-imager/6.3/index.html?using_scripts_to_automate_gi.htm,
and am not finding evidence that this is possible (in v6.1 at least).
